Charges have been dismissed against Thomas Kirk Brownlee of Kirkland. David Marshall and Kristina Selset fought for five months to defend Brownlee against a young woman’s accusation that he kidnapped and raped her. The prosecutor moved to dismiss all charges upon seeing strong evidence that the woman had lied about the incident.

“We were thrilled to get justice for Tom,” said David Marshall, “and to get it without his having to endure the ordeal of a trial. Now he can get back to living the life he loves.”
